baby’s first Birthday Cake? what kind of cake? did baby just have a “mini cake”? did you have an actual party?
i know its still about 4 months away, but I can’t believe he’s going on 8 months old now…i want to do some form of a little birthday party for him…should I just keep it as family (parents, grandparents, aunt, uncles, and cousin who see him regularly plus his honorary grandparents?)
what kind of cake should I do? i’ve heard that you shouldn’t give chocolate to a baby till they are like 2 years old or something, but I think my first cake was chocolate and i’m perfectly fine today.
did you do a theme for the party? if so, what was it? what would you suggest for a little boy growing up in the country?

We had a party for both of their firsts. Friends and family were invited.
We had chocolate cake, I’ve never heard that about chocolate, unless you have a lot of food allergies in your family. We don’t so they got peanut butter, chocolate, strawberries, etc. After they were 1.
