Both his kids and mine will be with their other parents for a nice dinner earlier in the day. I plan to bake and decorate a cake and make a jello mold. Do you have any other ideas that I could make that would make things special?….I don’t want it to be just like another night. I just don’t think two big meals in one day is a great idea either.
I always make these easy fruit tarts. I get some of the mini frozen pie crusts at the store and some vanilla or chocolate pudding. bake the crusts as directed and make the pudding as directed for pies. Fill the pie shell about 1/3 full and then slice some strawberries over it and put a little strawberry glaze over the strawberries. You can use any kind of fruit that you like. I always get alot of compliments from them and they are easy to make.
